Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode on Thursday sacked three commissioners, appointed five and reshuffled his cabinet. According to a statement on Thursday by Mr. Tunji Bello, The Secretary to the State Government, The three sacked commissioners are Mrs. Adebimpe Akinsola, Mr. Femi Odubiyi, and Mr. Anifowoshe Abiola, and the new appointed five are Messrs Hakeem Fahm, Ladi Lawanson, Segun Banjo, Olayinka Oladunjoye and Hakeem Sulaiman.

Italy train crash: Two killed near Milan

A regional train has derailed near Milan, killing at least two people and injuring dozens. Firefighters are trying to free several people trapped in one carriage, between the stations of Treviglio and Pioltello, Italy's Rai news reports. The Trenord train was heading to Milan from Cremona, in northern Italy. It is not yet clear what caused the crash. It happened just before 07:00 (06:00 GMT).
