I have read so many articles on hair trim. Some say it's beneficial why others state otherwise.
But does trims boost hair grow? From my experience, It does boost Growth.
Trimming eliminates damaged ends that are excessively weathered, knotted or split. You have less breakage and flyaways when you trim, thus making the hair grow longer in a shorter period of time. The percentage however is relatively low. You also maintain a thicker and shiner hair.
In general, regular trimming helps to improve the look and feel of hair.
What really contributes to the higher percentage of hair growth is the consistent intake of the right blend of vitamins and minerals. This helps to keep the follicles healthy.
The truth is that no amount of product have a real effect on hair growth. Hair follicles need nutrients to grow healthy hair strands.
Hair products only create the ideal scalp environment for hair growth. So applying products without considering proper hair vitamin routine is as good as doing nothing.
Your diet could be preventing your hair from growing. It would be wise to be careful with what you consume if you want to maintain a healthy and longer hair.
