NPFL: John Obuh appointed as new coach of FC IfeanyiUbah

The management of FC IfeanyiUbah owned by the Capital Oil CEO has sacked the entire technical crew of the club while John Obuh has been appointed as new coach. This followed two days after the Anambra Warriors lost their unbeaten home record 1-0 to Wikki Tourists in a Week 14 tie played in Oba on Sunday.

According to Goal.com, a top official of the club told them that Bulgarian Mitko Dobrev and his two assistants, Willie Udube and Isaac Paha, had to go because the club does not want their target of qualifying for the continent to elude them at the end of the season.

Under Dobrev, FC IfeanyiUbah secured two away draws and a win and won all but one of their home matches.

They are currently fifth on the log with 23 points from 14 matches ahead of the tie with the Naze Millionaires in Port Harcourt at the Liberation Stadium on Wednesday.
